STEPVisual Communications is proud to be a Women owned business and help to enhance our client’s diversity interests with our WBENC and WPO certifications and memberships.
Stephanie Fischer became President of STEPVisual when it was incorporated in 2009. “When we first formed STEPVisual in 2009, we did not initially pursue the WBE certification. However, our clients quickly urged us to complete the process and become certified. That review and certification process was a long road, but greatly worth the effort. As a certified women owned business, we can better serve our clients by providing them with exceptional print services and meeting their diversity spending goals.”
WBENC’s national standard of certification implemented by the Women President’s Education Organization – New York, is a meticulous process including an in-depth review of the business and site inspection. The certification process is designed to confirm that the business is at least owned, operated and controlled by a woman or women.
By including women owned businesses among the vendors, corporations and government agencies demonstrate their commitment to fostering diversity and the continued development of their supplier / vendor diversity programs.
The Women’s Business Enterprise National Council is the nations largest 3rd party certifier of businesses owned and operated by women in the United States. WBENC is a resource for more than 700 US companies and government agencies that rely on the WBENC certification as an integral part of their supplier diversity program.
